August 18, 2016, Allenton, WI – Recently, Maysteel Industries LLC was invited to participate at the inaugural Coca-Cola Freestyle Supplier Day. This annual event, sponsored by Coca-Cola Freestyle and Plexus for selected leaders of important strategic suppliers, was held August 02, 2016 in Guadalajara, Mexico. The event is designed to provide an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, share strategy and celebrate mutual achievements.
Maysteel has been a supplier to Coca-Cola Freestyle and Plexus since 2006, participating in the initial design/prototype process and then moving into production on the Freestyle 8000 and 9000 dispenser frames.
Maysteel was selected as one of three suppliers that would be recognized during the conference and was honored to be named 2015 Supplier of the Year. After the conference was completed, Maysteel had an opportunity to meet with a group of executives from both Plexus and Coca-Cola Freestyle for dinner in celebration of the accomplishments achieved.
Allenton Operations Manager David Dembinski said “This is a really nice award. It is very rewarding to have this type of recognition for our efforts from one of our key customers.”
“Our cost reduction efforts, delivery & quality performance AND the way we respond if/when there is an issue were all reasons specifically mentioned for winning this award. Only three suppliers were recognized and we were announced last as Supplier of the Year. It is a great honor for Maysteel to be selected by Coca-Cola Freestyle and Plexus as the 2015 Supplier of the Year. Congrats everyone! Well deserved and Thank You!” said Maysteel CEO Kevin Matkin, commenting on the award.
