(La Mirada, CA) DAMAC, a Division of Maysteel, (“DAMAC"), a manufacturer of custom and standard data center infrastructure equipment, is pleased to announce the expansion of its production headquarters in La Mirada, California.
This expansion increases the facility from 58,000 sq. ft. to 113,000 sq. ft., and allows DAMAC to streamline its manufacturing processes within the plant. This facility investment supports the growing needs of data center customers, including the rapid growth of the industry and the necessity to restructure their delivery and supply chain requirements. In addition, the new layout allows DAMAC’s headquarters to increase productivity, throughput and flexibility for customers’ growing demands.
“We are excited about the expansion in La Mirada and what it means for our customers,” -Victor Herrada, General Manager of DAMAC.
“Today’s data center expectations have our customers requiring more flexibility and quick data center deployment. Between the expansion and the streamlined plant layout, we can easily respond to their needs,” Herrada added. This investment is also part of DAMAC’s parent company, Maysteel Industries, LLC’s (“Maysteel”) growing footprint and facility investment over the last few years including opening a second facility in Monterrey, Mexico.
