Kevin is one of Maysteel’s Program Engineers. After graduating from Moraine Park Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Supervisory Management and Quality, Kevin started his professional career at Mayville Engineering Company. He held several positions there including Welder, Customer Service Rep, and Project Engineer.
Kevin recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary with Maysteel. Kevin is engaged in new product development (NPD) and overseeing current customer products. His responsibilities include prototyping, design development and review, estimating and process and tool/fixture development, to name a few. In addition, he works to maintain current products and programs including working with customers to continually identify opportunities for product improvement and cost reduction.
Kevin is a second-generation Maysteel employee. His father started at Maysteel in 1968 and worked for 43 years as General Manager and Plant Manager at various locations.
Most people don’t know: Kevin is keenly interested in WWII history and has actually flown in a couple of vintage WWII-era airplanes. He also enjoys making (and drinking!) his own wine.
