Kevin Matkin, President & CEO

matkinKevin is the President & CEO of Maysteel Industries LLC, where he oversees all aspects of the business strategies, direction, manufacturing operations, P&L and customer involvement, ensuring employees, technologies and capabilities perform to their highest standards.

Kevin joined Maysteel in October 2010 as Vice President of Operations. Kevin’s most recent role before joining Maysteel was President of Premier Precision Group, a private equity roll up of precision machining businesses. Prior to that, Kevin was President of the Engineered Products Group of Western Industries. His career began as an Industrial Engineer with Rohr Industries (now Goodrich Aerospace).

Kevin has an M.B.A. with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from De Paul University in Chicago, Illinois and a B.S.I.E. degree in Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Kevin lives in Pewaukee, WI., with his wife and 2 children.

Randy Gromowski, CFO

gromowskiRandy joined Maysteel in August 2003 as Business Controller for the Allenton location. He has held progressive responsibilities since then and currently serves as the CFO for Maysteel Industries LLC. Randy is currently responsible for all the financial reporting, cost accounting, cash forecast, and budgeting for Maysteel Industries LLC.

He brings 34 years of experience in accounting for manufacturing companies, with an emphasis in cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. His experience includes holding financial lead positions for both public and privately held companies, including The Vollrath Company, Fort Howard Corporation, AO Smith, and Briggs and Stratton Power Products.

Randy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration, with a minor in Math from Lakeland College. Randy is married and has 4 children.

Don Lawinger, VP - Business Development

lawingerDon is the VP of Business Development at Maysteel Industries LLC, where he is responsible for business development, application engineering, estimation, customer relations, and market involvement, as well as leading the marketing efforts. Don joined Maysteel in November 2014, and has an extensive background in manufacturing and fabrications, sales, business development, sales management, and operations management. Most recently, he was VP of Business Development at MPE Inc. in Menomonee Falls, where he held various roles over the last 12 years such as Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, and Director of Global Operations before becoming VP of Business Development.

Don brings over 35 years of experience in metal fabrications and assembly and has experience in both the medical and industrial markets in the US and Mexico. Don lives in Menomonee Falls, WI. and he and his wife have 8 children.

Jeffrey Henn, Director of Engineering

hennJeffrey is the Director of Engineering at Maysteel Industries LLC. He provides overall direction for Engineering Services, internal projects, and NPD programs, prioritizing projects to ensure alignment with corporate strategy. As the internal champion of the Maysteel New Product Development Process, he provides guidance to the organization throughout the introduction lifecycle. He is also responsible for centralized project management services, including planning, scheduling, and risk assessment. Jeffrey works with the Leadership Team to identify, develop, and implement Engineering Cost Reduction solutions.

Jeffrey joined Maysteel in 2007 as the Director of Information Technology and brings over 15 years of experience in IT Management and Systems Administration. He has previously held positions at Viasystems, JW Speaker Corporation and Tri-Clover. Maysteel recognized Jeffrey’s strong ability in program management and moved him to his current role in 2010.

Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and a Masters of Information Systems from Keller Graduate School of Management. Jeffrey lives in Richfield, WI. and is married with 2 children.

Darci Boettcher, Human Resources Manager

boettcherDarci is the Human Resources Manager at Maysteel Industries LLC, where she is responsible for all aspects of  HR including organizational development and engagement, community partnering, and compliance.  Darci joined Maysteel in 2007 as a Human Resources Generalist.  Darci’s most recent role prior to joining Maysteel was Human Resources Manager for Securitas Security Services USA.

Darci has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.  Darci is married and has two children.

David Dembinski, Allenton Plant Manager

David-Dembinski-1552David is the Plant Manager of the Allenton, WI facility, where he overseas all manufacturing operations and support, including Quality, Safety, Manufacturing Engineering, Kaizen and Lean Management and facilities.

David joined Maysteel Industries LLC in November 2010. His most recent role was GM of Stremel facility of Premier Precision Group. Prior to that, he was VP of Operations for the Engineered products for Western Industries. His career started as a 19 year old summer machinist at Allen-Bradley, now Rockwell Automation.

David attended University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and studied Business Administration. He furthered his world class manufacturing coursework from GE Transportation Systems (Action Workout) education with Oliver White MRPII Proven Path Series. David has been married for 27 years to his original bride, has 4 children and lives in Ixonia, WI.

Carlos Zozaya Torres, Monterrey Plant Manager

Carlos-Zozaya-TorresCarlos is the Plant Manager at Maysteel Industries LLC’s Monterrey, Mexico facility, where he overseas all manufacturing operations and support, including Quality, Safety, Manufacturing Engineering, Kaizen and Lean Management and facilities.

Carlos joined Maysteel in 2012, and brings 20 years of manufacturing experience, working for worldwide and well known companies in the automotive, refrigeration, lighting, heavy truck, appliance, sheet metal & precision components Industries. His background from companies such as General Electric, Danfoss and Katcon enables him to execute his role with strong leadership, team building capabilities and analytical problem solving skills.

Carlos received a Bachelors Degree from UANL (University of Nuevo Leon) as an Electromechanical Engineer, and earned a Master Degree in Manufacturing Systems from Monterrey Tech. Throughout his career, he has continued his learning in Manufacturing Excellence, Six Sigma and Leadership skills. Carlos is married and has two children.
